Car, Autocar, the car or the car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term makes it clear that cars are designed to be used mainly for roads, has a capacity of 1-8 people, and typically have four wheels, and built primarily to transport passengers or goods.
The term is also used in the car as part of electrified railway systems to indicate a car that is a little engine, but also provide space for passengers and luggage. These cars were often used for long-haul routes, and suburban and interurban rail systems.
